UPMC Health Plans:  I am an in-network provider and I accept employer or marketplace UPMC Health Plans.  Limitations apply.  Please email us or check your plan terms and conditions to see if your specific health concern has acupuncture coverage.  New patients will be asked to obtain a script or referral from their physician. No script is needed for self-pay patients. Coverage applies to patients 18 years or older.

• I do not accept UPMC for Life or other medicare plans. 
• UPMC for You plans do not cover acupuncture. 

Other Insurances:  While I cannot bill other insurances for you, I can provide you with a detailed receipt that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Some Medicare Advantage plans advertise acupuncture benefits for low back pain, so check with your plan to see if you can use an out-of-network provider.

VA Health System:  If you are a Veteran, I am also in-network as a Community Provider through the VA Health System. Pre-approval from the VA is required. Talk to your VA primary care physician to see if you qualify.  Contact us using the webform below for more information. Unfortunately I do not accept TriCare.

How about FSA and HSA accounts? YES!  Flex spending and HSA plans can be used for acupuncture.
