Insurance Coverage

I do not currently accept any commercial, marketplace, or medicare/medicaid health plans. These plans often have extremely limited coverage for acupuncture (if any). When major health plans expand their list of covered diagnoses, I will reconsider accepting insurance.

If you are a Veteran, we are in-network as a Community Provider through the VA Health System. Contact us for more information.

FSA and HSA plans can be used for acupuncture.

Treatment Pricing

New Patient - First Visit

$150

Includes review of health history, physical evaluation, discussion of customized treatment plan and first acupuncture treatment. Allow 60-90 minutes.

Follow up appointments**

$95

We review your progress and perform follow up acupuncture sessions as outlined in your treatment plan. Allow 30-45 minutes.

**Previous patients who have not been seen in 3 years will be considered INACTIVE and will be considered to be a new patient.

Additional Services

Home Visits

Home visits for acupuncture are available within 25 miles of the City of Pittsburgh. By appointment only. Price range is $175-$225 per visit depending on location. Contact us at contact@triciasmithacupuncture.com for more information.

Group Presentations
